Alleged Galaxy Note 9 Cases Leak Along With Device Renders

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will land next month, and we’re seeing more and more rumors and leaks online. The latest piece of info comes in form of case leaks, two cases leaked along with renders of the device itself, and you can check both of those in the gallery down below. Neither of these two cases seem to be branded, though, so take this leak with a grain of salt, as it usually goes with leaks like this.

Now, if this leak is to be believed, including the Galaxy Note 9 renders, then the device will resemble its predecessor quite a bit. The Galaxy Note 9 will sport a curved display, with rounded edges, while it will sport thin bezels above and below the display. It will be made out of metal and glass, though unlike the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, it will sport horizontally-aligned dual camera setup, with a fingerprint scanner below them, while the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus sport vertically-aligned cameras. Based on the shape of two cases that the Galaxy Note 9 is covered with, the device will have sharper edges than the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, which is in line with the Galaxy Note 8. All in all, it doesn’t seem like Samsung is planning to change the Galaxy Note 9’s design all that much compared to the Galaxy Note 8, and that was to be expected, the same happened with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, actually. Chances are we will see a more notable difference with the Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be announced on August 9, Samsung already sent out invites for that event, and the press conference will take place in Brooklyn, New York. The Galaxy Note 9 will sport a larger display than the Galaxy S9 Plus, and we will see two different SoC variants of the phone. In the US, for example, the phone is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 845 SoC, while Europe will get the Exynos 9810 variant of the Note 9. A new version of Samsung’s S Pen stylus will ship with the Galaxy Note 9, and it will include some new features, of course.
