Fortnite season 4 is winding down, and if you’re still hunting that Blockbuster skin and tier 100, you are definitely going to want to finish out what is probably the easiest week of challenges of the season.
As a refresher here are this week’s challenges that you’re going to want to complete before the end of the season, which is now just over a week away:
- Deal damage with explosive weapons to opponents (0/500)
- Search chests in Moisty Mire (0/7)
- Use a shopping cart (0/1)
- Visit the center of Named Locations in a single match (0/4)
- Follow the treasure map found in Haunted Hills (0/1) HARD
- Shotgun eliminations (0/4) HARD
- Eliminate opponents in Anarchy Acres (0/3) HARD
Given that it’s Monday, the insanity of searching Moisty Mire for chests or Anarchy Acres for kills should now have died down a bit, so those may be easier to compete now than they were a few days ago. Using a shopping cart is as simply as simply stumbling across a shopping cart, which is incredibly simple over the course of probably a few games. Shotgun kills are likely kills you’d be getting anyway, given the current meta of Fortnite, and explosive damage is pretty easy, even though there’s been a recent nerf to rocket capacity.
For the last two?
Visiting the center of named locations in a single match is relatively easy, but there’s still a way to do it efficiently, so read our guide for that.
Following the treasure map in Haunted Hills can be completed by reading our guide here.
This is normally where I’d tell you how to find this week’s free battle pass tier, but Fortnite has stopped doing those in the last three weeks of the season, which is a bit of a bummer.
So if you want to find secrets, you’re best off exploring the recent map changes in the wake of the big rocket launch, which was far more insane than anyone thought it would be. While you’re getting kills in Anarchy Acres, you can check out the downed rocket booster there. Elsewhere, a breach has opened up in front of Lonely Lodge and is starting to grow and consume the scenery. At the time of this writing, a second breach is starting to form on the sign of the motel west of Anarchy Acres. My guess is we are going to see a bunch more of these start to open up all around the map, so feel free to go breach hunting to try and be one of the first players to discover new ones. Epic may actually be adding and expanding them every day.
It’s an exciting time to be a Fortnite player as this season winds down and some new mystery theme starts to emerge for season 5. Finish out those challenges and start keeping an eye on those breaches. Something big is coming.
