Fortnite Update 6.20 Will Give You Fortnitemares

This week’s Fortnite update is getting spooky with Fortnitemares. The Cube is here and it means business. Take out the “Cube Fiends and Fragments to pick up loot, and survive against enemy players” in Battle Royale.

It’s even getting its own set of free challenges. Starting with the following:

Destroy Cube Monsters
Deal damage with Assault Rifles or Pistols to Cube Monsters
Visit a Corrupted Area in different matches
Dance at different Gargoyles
Come back every few days for a new set of challenges and new rewards! If you complete the final set of challenges, you’ll be rewarded with the Dark Engine glider!

The same goes for Save the World, with the Hexsylvania setting making a comeback.

Here’s just a slice of the content coming to Save the World during Fortnitemares:
Brainiac Jonesy and Skull Ranger Ramirez (Free to Founders)
New and returning Fortnitemares Heroes.
Rat Rod Weapon Set
And a few more surprises along the way…

The team at Epic Games is always testing out new concepts. The latest is glider re-deploy, which is now available in all game modes. Give it a go and tell the team how you feel about it. Enjoy the new pirate ship minigame in Playground. And until November 6, 2018 you can get Save the World for 50% off, which won’t have a free version until 2019 at the earliest.

SOCIAL
The Social List has been completely redesigned. This is the first of many steps toward improving the social experience within Fortnite. Expect more frequent updates and improvements to this experience over the coming weeks.
The main Social List has received new art, animations, and flow.
The Social List button has moved to the left side of the screen and can now be directly accessed with a controller.
Controller and Touch support has been improved.
Party Finder has been removed
All previous Party Finder functionality has moved to the new Social List.
Places that used to open Party Finder now open the new Social List.
KNOWN ISSUES
The Fortnitemares cinematic video will not play on the Nintendo Switch platform.
