NFL items are coming to 'Fortnite,' and they look awesome

Fortnite has taken over the world, and now the NFL is getting on board. Unveiled on Monday, a partnership between Epic Games, creators of Fortnite and the NFL will bring football-themed items to the game, complete with official team branding.

The items are pretty cool and it’s awesome to see the NFL embracing something that’s actually fun. There is no better way than show your fandom that running around the map in your team’s jersey, before getting shot by a 13-year-old who tells you they had intercourse with your mother.

In addition to clothing there will also be NFL-themed emotes added to the game, as well as special football gliders, harvesting tools and even referee emotes, which will signal first downs and touchdowns.

There is some uniqueness to the announcement as well. With Fortnite having female characters it’s the first time in a video game women will be featured in full NFL uniforms.

Everything is Fortnite now. I’m okay with this future.
