Ninja reveals how much money he made in 2018 - FortniteINTEL

In an interview with CNN prior to his New Years Eve event, Tyler ‘Ninja’ Blevins has revealed how much money he made in 2018 thanks to his enormous success.

Ninja ended 2018, his most successful year as a Twitch streamer, with a New Years Eve event live from Times Square in New York. Prior to the event, he went around and spoke with many press outlets, including Jimmy Fallon, to highlight his 2018 and talk more about his celebration to end the year.

Ninja also spoke briefly with CNN about his 2018 and has revealed that he has made close to $10 million in 2018 thanks to the success of his Twitch and YouTube channel. This is one of the first times Ninja has revealed how much he made in 2018. Earlier estimates from March suggested he was earning at least $500,000 a month with revenue coming in from Twitch subscribers and YouTube ad money.

CNN reported:

Ninja is, literally, killing it. The 94,958 Fortnite kills he had racked up at last check have helped him earn what he says is close to $10 million this year. Blevins and his colorful hair (neon red at the time of this interview) have become a cultural phenomenon, and his skills and personality have helped make Fortnite the behemoth that it is — one that drove its company, Epic Games, to a reported profit of $3 billion this year.

Ninja has set numerous records in gaming in 2018, having the most watched Twitch stream for a single streamer with 667,000 viewers during his Ninja Vegas Event in April, and he was one of the fastest growing YouTube channel in 2018 reaching 10 million subscribers.

Ninja’s 2018 New Years Eve event featured some of the biggest streamers alongside him, including TimTheTatMan, DrLupo, and CourageJD. The event also featured football star Neymar Jr. and Detroit Lion NFL players playing Fortnite live from Times Square in New York.

Both Fortnite and Ninja have seen incredible success together in 2018. Epic Games reportedly had a profit of $3 billion this year with the cosmetic sales in Fortnite’s item shop, alongside the Battle Pass model.

2019 is shaping up to be an even better year for Fortnite and Ninja.
