Fortnite Season 8 is officially live, and data miners are hard at work scouring through the game’s update files in hopes of finding unreleased items.
The V8.00 update has saw some huge changes to the game, introducing the new Cannon weapon, three new Points of Interest and a whole new biome in the north-east corner of the map.
Along with that, data miners have leaked upcoming cosmetic items such as skins, gliders and harvesting tools, and a brand new vehicle called the Hamster Ball which looks set to make an appearance in Fortnite in the future.
Fans have also gotten their hands on the brand new Season 8 Battle Pass, which includes a number of music tracks that players can unlock and use when they are browsing through the game’s menus or waiting in the lobby to join a match.
Some of these are unavailable to unlock until late in the Battle Pass, with the final song not unlockable until the player has reached Tier 92.
Thankfully, thanks to leakers, we can now hear a number of the new tracks before they are unlocked so you can get a taste of what will be playing in the game throughout Season 8.
The first track features seems to follow one of the game’s main themes for Season 8, having a distinctive pirate-like theme that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Pirates of the Carribean film.

The second song has a very tropical sound to it, featuring steel drums and the sound of splashing waves on the shore to give it a joyous, uplifting feel.

The final track sounds like a pop song from 1980s, with lots of synthesizers and a upbeat tempo.
