This is the Galaxy S10E - Thurrott.com

Samsung is expected to launch a total of three different Galaxy S10 devices this year. The company is launching the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, which we already know a lot about, but there is going to be another, cheaper edition of the device.

Meet the Galaxy S10E, the entry-level Galaxy S10 device that will compete with the likes of the iPhone Xr. The device, coming at a price of €750, or around $859, will feature a 5.8-inch display. There are some notable differences between the S10E and the S10/S10+, too.

The display of the device doesn’t curve as it does on the S10/S10+, for example. It’s also surrounded by thicker bezels, although it features an Infinity-O notch (which does look a little more prominent than on the regular S10). On the back, there are only two cameras as compared to the S10/S10+’s three-camera setup. And lastly, there is also no in-display fingerprint scanner — instead, Samsung is putting that on the side of the device.

For now, though, details on the S10E continue to be scarce so we will just have to wait till the official announcement for more info on the device, especially for the info on what’s under the hood.
