Epic Games investigating stability issues with 'Wick's Bounty' LTM - FortniteINTEL

The Fortnite X John Wick event started earlier on May 16th, but the LTM mode has had some annoying server based problems. These effect performance, framerate, and other factors. Epic Games is taking a look at the root causes.

The new John Wick 3 movie crossover event ‘Wick’s Bounty’ launched for a 5 day period on May 16th, but the deployment has not been perfect.

Epic Games wanted to reassure fans of the franchise and game mode that they are taking a look into the current LTM problems.

Wick’s Bounty LTM Stability Issues

Epic Games took to the official Fortnite Twitter account to confirm their awareness of some stability issues that have popped up with Wick’s Bounty.

We’re investigating a server stability issue with the Wick’s Bounty Limited Time Mode.
We’ll provide a status update once it has been resolved.

Once an update is released by Epic, we’ll update this article with further information about the problems.

The current issues plaguing the LTM have to do with performance and stability problems. As stated by Epic, the issues are stemming from server related issues. This may be due to a massive amount of players getting on to try out the game mode.

The stability issues are causing serious framerate and frametime issues even in low population areas of the map. Along with this, players have realized delays in builds and weapon switching. The issues seem to persist even once the lobby population drops into late game numbers.

Knowing Epic’s quick repair speeds, the issue should be resolved within a day’s time. We’ll report on any changes to the LTM as Epic gives more info on their progress.
