The KB4513172 Update for Windows 10 Mobile is now available for all Windows phone handsets running the Windows 10 Mobile operating system.

This latest update brings the operating system up to OS Build 15254.582 and includes a variety of minor security and performance improvements.

Here’s the official release notes that mention the two main changes with this update:

Addresses an issue that may prevent devices from starting up or cause them to continue restarting if they are connected to a domain that is configured to use MIT Kerberos realms. Domain controllers and domain members are both affected.

Security updates to Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Microsoft Edge, Windows Server, Windows MSXML, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Virtualization, Windows Cryptography, Windows Input and Composition, and Internet Explorer.

Windows 10 Mobile devices will likely receive a couple more updates before Microsoft ends support completely for Windows phones on December 10th. As cool as Windows phones are, all users are encouraged to make the switch to iPhone or Android by the end of the year.
