KEWAUNEE COUNTY (WBAY) -- A new report from the USDA shows roughly one-third of the state's corn crop harvest is still in the ground.
That is one month behind schedule. The year will be remembered as one of the hardest for Wisconsin farmers.
"They've never seen a year like this, they've been farming for 40-50 years and just shaking their heads saying I can't believe we had a year like this," Rio Creek Feed Mill Manager Adam Barta said.
The situation is just as tough for other crops. One Kewaunee official says much of the state's soy bean crop is buried under snow.
