CHICAGO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Following are U.S. trade expectations for the opening of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Monday.
WHEAT - Up 4 to 8 cents per bushel per bushel
* Wheat rose in tandem with higher corn and soy. Market supported by easing trade war tensions between the United States and China and by rise in export taxes in Argentina.
* CBOT reported 66 deliveries against the December soft red winter wheat contract. There were 2 deliveries against the K.C. December hard red winter wheat contract. The contracts expire Dec. 13.
* CBOT March soft red winter wheat last traded up 7-1/4 cents at $5.39-3/4 per bushel. K.C. March hard red winter wheat was last 6-3/4 cents higher at $4.49-1/2 a bushel, and MGEX March spring wheat was last up 9 cents at $5.34-3/4 a bushel.
CORN - Up 3 to 6 cents per bushel
* Corn rises on easing U.S.-China trade war tensions after the two sides agreed to a "phase one" deal last week.
* A hike in export levies on agricultural products by Argentina's newly elected government added further support.
* Benchmark CBOT March corn futures contract rose to its highest in more than five weeks overnight but failed to break through chart resistance at its 50-day moving average.
* There were 83 deliveries against CBOT's December corn contract, bringing the total for the period to 694.
* CBOT March corn last traded up 5-3/4 cents at $3.86-3/4 per bushel.
SOYBEANS - Up 7 to 10 cents per bushel
* Soybean futures advance on easing trade war tensions after the United States and China agreed to an interim deal on Friday.
* A hike in export levies on agricultural products by Argentina's newly elected government added further support.
* Most-active soybean futures contract hit its highest on a continuous basis since Nov. 18 overnight.
* Benchmark CBOT January soybean futures contract held technical support overnight at its 200-day moving average.
* CBOT reported 236 deliveries against the expiring December soymeal futures contract and 139 against December soyoil futures.
* CBOT January soybeans last traded up 9 cents at $9.16-1/2 per bushel. (Reporting by Karl Plume, Editing by William Maclean)
